If your child needs to take medicine during school, please give it to the office staff or school nurse. Do not let your child take the medicine by himself without supervision. We sincerely recommend that you try to let your children take medicine at home, and only let them bring medicine to school when necessary. If your child needs to take medicine, please send the following information and the Morrison Medication Administration From to the office staff or school nurse. We will give the child medicine according to the doctor’s order. Please also attach the doctor’s prescription and the medicine. Put it in the medicine bag and clearly indicate the child’s name (grade), the dose of medicine and the time of taking the medicine.
On October 28th at 2pm, I will host a presentation on two topics of interest: MAK’s Advanced Placement program and Application Testing requirements for university. I will review which AP courses are available, how the AP testing works in May, why MAK limits the number of AP courses and why taking an AP course can help when applying for university. The second half of our time will be discussing testing used in university applications primarily the SAT and English proficiency tests.
Please RSVP by responding to this email if you will be attending.

Last weekend, MAK Sharks Athletes traveled to Taichung for a day of Soccer and Volleyball! Illness and other issues targeted all three of our teams, with starters or experienced veterans missing from all three squads. Yet, in true Shark fashion, all three teams overcame fatigue and adversity to find success on court and pitch. Varsity Boys Soccer triumphed in both their games, 3-2 over the MAC Mustangs and 5-2 over ICA. It was MAK Boys Soccer’s first win over MAC, powered by a hat trick by senior James Andrews. The Varsity and JV Girls both fell to MAC in Volleyball, but set aside early disappointment to both win big over ICA in their second games. It was a great day to be a Shark!
