Mrs. Chaulagain, affectionately known as "Mrs. C," is our dedicated Learning Specialist at MAK. The Learning Resource Center (LRC) is a space where Mrs. C and her team work closely with students facing learning and behavioral challenges. Through both inclusive (push-in) and direct (pull-out) support sessions, the team utilizes research-based strategies and programs tailored to each student's unique needs. At MAK, based on the needs of the students, we provide individualized instruction, develop Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) and 504 plans, make curricular modifications, and implement Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks to support student growth. The LRC team is passionate about helping every learner reach their full potential, working in close partnership with students, teachers, and families to provide meaningful resources and support. This collaboration is a key component in ensuring the academic success of every child. Mrs. C believes that each child is made in the image of God, uniquely created for a special purpose in His grand narrative. With the right structure, evidence-based tools, and intentional planning, she believes ALL students can thrive and grow as lifelong learners.
