Greetings MAK Parents and Guardians,  

Please know that Morrison Academy is aware of the information regarding the Covid-19 vaccination for children 12-17 years of age.  The school’s government representative is currently in close communication with the Education Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government.   

Currently, there is no information available on how the government will distribute the vaccinations.  Therefore, the school is waiting for further details from the government.  When more information is available, Morrison Academy plans to communicate with all impacted families and follow government guidelines regarding the administration of the vaccine.

想讓您知道，馬禮遜有持續在跟進12-17歲新冠疫苗的施打政策。學校教育局的窗口也密切與高雄市教育局溝通。

目前，政府還沒有告知將會如何分配疫苗，所以學校也在等待政府公布更多的政策。當中央政府公佈更多後續相關資訊後，我們會儘快與所有符合條件的家庭溝通，也會繼續遵守關於疫苗施打的政策。

MIDDLE SCHOOL SPORTS UPDATE

Though Covid-19 restrictions are currently preventing us from having interscholastic competitions we can still be creative and have some fun of our own. This week the MS will start their intramural soccer teams competitions during after-school sports. Each student that showed up to play soccer was drafted into a mixed grade 6-8 soccer team. Each team will have a coach and some practices together. Then they will start competing against each other for some fun and healthy competition. There are 3 boys teams and 3 girls teams. At the end of our in-house season, the winning team will earn a pizza party!!  

PS…if we become able to start playing other schools as usual we will adjust our practices as needed for that as well.

中學體育快訊

雖然因著疫情我們沒有辦法跟別的學校比賽，我們還是可以用有創意的方法來享受運動。這個禮拜開始，中學生們會在課後練習時間時來進行校內比賽。每位參加足球隊的學生將會被分到一個混合6-8年級的隊上，然後每一隊都將會有自己的教練和練習時間。練習一陣子之後，他們將會對戰其他的隊伍。我們總共有三組男生隊和三組女生隊！在校內賽季結束時，冠軍隊伍將會贏得一個披薩派對的獎賞！

備註：如果我們開始能夠跟其他學校比賽，我們會持續更改和調整我們的練習狀況。

The Middle School Soccer Exchange that was scheduled for September 11th will not take place due to the Covid-19 restrictions on intercampus activities as implemented by the Education Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government. As restrictions are continually being changed and updated we will keep you informed as soon as possible on future events.
