Registration Bills sent out March 4 via postal mail

Dear Parents, the 2021-2022 Registration Fee Bills have been sent out on March 4 via postal mail and electronically to your email, please check your mail box and let us know if you still HAVE NOT received your child’s Registration Bill by the end of next week. Registration fee is due before March 26th, students will receive a 5000NT discount on their 2021-2022 Fall tuition bill if the registration fee is paid on time.

親愛的家長們， 2021-2022年度的註冊單已於三月4日以平信及電子版寄出，請注意查收您家裡的信箱，若在下周週五之前尚未收到註冊單的話，請務必告知辦公室。註冊費繳交截止日為三月26日，若在繳費截止日前完成繳納程序者，將給予2021-2022秋季學費減免5000元的優惠。

Please also remember to log into your PowerSchool parent account to update each of your child’s Registration Form, or fill out the Withdrawal Form if your child will not be returning next school year.

MAK MATH CLUB Pi Day Pies 
數學社圓周率日(3.14)

Pi Day is just around the corner!  Please click here to pre-order your pies (Raspberry, Lemon Cheesecake, Chocolate Mousse).  Pies will be available for pick-up on Monday, March 15th in the MPR. If you don’t pre-order or if you want to buy more, there will be a limited number of pies for sale at lunch and after school (while supplies last).  

圓周率日就要到了！請點選此連結預購派餅（口味有：覆盆莓、檸檬起司蛋糕，以及巧克力慕斯）。三月15日(一)即可在MPR拿取您所訂購的手工創意派餅。如果您沒有預購或想購買更多派餅的話，我們會在當日午餐時間和下課後販售多準備但數量有限的派餅，售完為止。

The long-awaited annual Spring Art Competition hosted by the Art Club is back again! After some consideration, we have decided that this time there will be no theme: we look forward to being surprised by your creativity! No matter the size or medium (drawing, painting, sculpture), your art pieces are welcome. Please submit by March 15 with your name, grade, medium, and the title on a slip of paper to Mrs. Newkirk, Hope Yang (10), Emily Griffin (11), or Melody Fang (12). Students of all ages are welcome to participate and compete. Artwork will be displayed at the Parent Teacher Conference on March 26, and prizes will be given to placing artists of each age group.

期待已久的春季藝術比賽又回來了！經過許久的深思熟慮，美術社決定這次將這次的主題訂為沒有主題。我們期待收到您驚人的創作！不限作品大小及題材(繪畫、油畫、雕刻)，我們都歡迎您遞件參賽！

請在三月15日之前繳交您的作品並附上姓名、年級和作品名稱的作品資料單給 Mrs. Newkirk、Hope Yang(G10)、Emily Griffin(G11) 或 Melody Fang(G12)。歡迎各個年級的學生參加這次的比賽！您的作品將在三月26日的親師會座談會中展出，並將獎品頒發給各個年級得名的藝術家。

Our ES Spring Concert is from 3:30-4:15pm, on Tuesday, March 30th (for Grade K & 1 & 2) and on Thursday, April 1st (Grade 3 & 4 & 5). Please remember to pack concert clothing for your children to change into just before the concert begins.  

The colors for this year’s spring concert will be spring colors: BLUE, GREEN, PINK, and WHITE. Students should keep the following guidelines in mind when picking their spring concert attire:

• • • • • • • Wear spring colored tops (no T-shirts)
            • Wear long pants, knee-length skirts or dresses
            • Wear closed-toes shoes
            • No jeans or sneakers

 

我們這學期的大班到二年級的春季音樂會將於三月30日(二)，下午3:30-4:15舉行。三年級到五年級的音樂會則在將在4月1日(四)同時段舉辦。請記得要幫您的孩子另外準備音樂會要穿的服裝，讓您的小孩可以在音樂會之前換上。

今年音樂會服裝的顏色將以春天的顏色為主，像藍色、綠色、粉色，和白色。在選衣服的時候，請遵守以下幾點：

• 穿著春天顏色的上衣（勿穿T恤）
• 穿著長褲或者長度超過膝蓋的裙子或連身洋裝
• 勿穿露腳趾的鞋子
• 勿穿牛仔褲及運動鞋

Dear MAK parents and students,

Early bird ticket sales for Talent Show have officially ended!! If you would like to purchase Talent Show tickets, they will now be 400NT until before March 12 (includes food tickets).

Ticket slips have been handed out to all students and are also available to print here. 

We will be following a series of precautions for Covid-19. If you would like to understand how we will be applying these precautions, feel free to check this document out.
