REMINDER: Registration Bills DUE TOMORROW, MARCH 26

Dear Parents, this is a reminder that the Registration Fee is due tomorrow, March 26. Students will receive a 5000NT discount on their 2021-2022 Fall tuition bill if the registration fee is paid on time.

親愛的家長們， 註冊費繳交截止日為明天，三月26日(五)，若在繳費截止日前完成繳納程序者，將給予2021-2022秋季學費減免新台幣5000元的優惠。

Please also remember to log into your PowerSchool parent account to update each of your child’s Registration Form, or fill out the Withdrawal Form if your child will not be returning next school year.
另外提醒您，請登入家長的Power School帳號，更新孩子新學年的註冊單、或轉出單。

Quarter 3 Report cards can now be accessed electronically in Powerschool.  Please follow the steps below to view the report cards. 

• Log into PowerSchool.  You must log into PowerSchool through a web browser, either on your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop.  You will NOT find the Report cards in the PowerSchool App.
• On the left-hand side of your screen, you should see an icon labeled Report Card. If you don’t see the icon, look for a small gray arrow near the top left of your screen.  Click on this arrow to reveal many options, including the Report Card icon.
• Click on the Report Card icon, if the report is ready, it will appear.  
• If you can not remember your login or password, follow the instructions on the login page to retrieve the information.

Elementary School Parents: There are two documents that give you information about your child’s progress at school.  Mastery Connect reports on how your child is meeting the standards in academic courses.  You should receive an email to access your child’s Mastery Connect report.  Power School reports on social and study skills.  When teachers write comments at the end of each semester, those comments will appear in Power School.

Please contact the office at mak@ma.org.tw if you would like to request a printed copy of the report card.

小學部的家長們：小孩在學校的表現將會以兩種形式來呈現。Mastery Connect會告訴您，您的小孩是否達到學業上應該要達到的標準。您應該會收到一份電郵告訴您怎麼打開這份紀錄。Power School則會告訴您，您的小孩在社交和學習技巧方面表現如何。老師們在學期末都會寫評語，而這些評語都能在Power School上找到。

Half Day for Teachers’ PL – Friday, April 2, 2021 
教師專業教育訓練 – 四月2日(五)，下午，2021年

This is a reminder that Friday, April 2nd is a Half Day for Teachers’ PL. School will be dismissed at 11:30AM and the school buses will leave at 11:45AM. This is a system wide Professional Learning day for all teachers to meet, receive training, and learn from each other.

再次提醒您，四月2日(五)，學生只上半天課，下午則是老師們的專業教育訓練。我們當天會在11:30放學，校車則在11:45準時發車。教師教育訓練日是為了讓老師們進修、互相觀摩及學習而設立的。

EASTER BREAK NO SCHOOL – Monday, April 5 to Friday, April 9, 2021

We want to wish all of you a blessed and joy filled Easter. School will be closed from Monday, April 5 to Friday, April 9 for Easter break.
Classes will resume the following Monday, on April 12.
祝福您們有一個愉快的復活節假期。學校將從四月5日(一)至四月9日(五)放春假，並且不對外開放。四月12日(一)將會恢復正常上課。

Our ES Spring Concert is from 3:30-4:15pm, on Tuesday, March 30th (for Grade K & 1 & 2) and on Thursday, April 1st (Grade 3 & 4 & 5). Please remember to pack concert clothing for your children to change into just before the concert begins.  

The colors for this year’s spring concert will be spring colors: BLUE, GREEN, PINK, and WHITE. Students should keep the following guidelines in mind when picking their spring concert attire:

• • • • • • • Wear spring colored tops (no T-shirts)
            • Wear long pants, knee-length skirts or dresses
            • Wear closed-toes shoes
            • No jeans or sneakers

 

我們這學期的大班到二年級的春季音樂會將於三月30日(二)，下午3:30-4:15舉行。三年級到五年級的音樂會則在將在4月1日(四)同時段舉辦。請記得要幫您的孩子另外準備音樂會要穿的服裝，讓您的小孩可以在音樂會之前換上。

今年音樂會服裝的顏色將以春天的顏色為主，像藍色、綠色、粉色，和白色。在選衣服的時候，請遵守以下幾點：

• 穿著春天顏色的上衣（勿穿T恤）
• 穿著長褲或者長度超過膝蓋的裙子或連身洋裝
• 勿穿露腳趾的鞋子
• 勿穿牛仔褲及運動鞋

Dear Elementary School Parents,
Please be advised that due to the EMS Spring Concert, we will not have the regular ASA on March 30 and April 1, but we will provide 2 supervised activities for those who will not attend the concerts. On these two days, the school bus will leave as normal, but you can pick up your children at 3:15 pm, if needed.

親愛的小學部家長，
下週因小學部春季音樂會之故，當週的ASA皆暫停乙次。我們仍會在三月卅日（二）及四月一日（四）為未參加音樂會的孩子們提供其他活動代替，屆時會有老師在旁協助維護兒童安全。校車仍會在下午四點卅分發車，若您的孩子未參加音樂會，也不願留校至放學時刻，您可以在三點十五分將孩子接回。
