Dear Parents 親愛家長,

Your child’s latest Report Card is available in PowerSchool. Please be reminded that there will not be a printed paper report card sent home for students. All report cards are now digital. Parents of K-5 students should also receive an email from MasteryConnect.

學生上學期的期中成績單可以在PowerSchool查看了。提醒您我們使用電子成績單，因此將不會寄出紙本成績單。K-5年級的家長們將收到 MasteryConnect 的電子郵件。

• Log into PowerSchool (ma.powerschool.com). You must log into PowerSchool through a web browser, either on your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. You will NOT find the report cards in the PowerSchool App.

• On the left-hand side of your screen, you should see an icon labeled Student Reports. If you don’t see the icon, look for a small gray arrow near the top left of your screen.  Click on this arrow to reveal many options, including the Student Reports icon.
  在您螢幕的左方，您應該可以看到一個顯示“成績單”的圖案及標示。如果您看不到該圖標，請在螢幕左上方附近找到一個灰色的小箭頭。 點擊此箭頭來顯示更多選項，包括“成績單”的圖標。
  
  
• Click on the Student Reports icon. Your child’s report card will be listed, please locate the most recent Report Card.

Family Day is finally here on Mar 26, 2022, Sat at 1 – 4pm.

The purpose of the Family Day is to provide entertainment for the community, families, and friends to enjoy an afternoon together. Family Day will give the Junior class an opportunity to fundraise for their Service trips.

Registration Bills DUE March 25

Dear Parents, the 2022-2023 Registration Fee Bill is due before March 25th, students will receive a 5000 nt discount on their 2022-2023 Fall tuition bill if the registration fee is paid on time.

Dear Elementary Parents and Guardians,

Students are excitedly preparing for the spring concert coming up on Thursday, April 14th.  The concert performance time will be from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please mark your calendar for this special event!

Here are a few announcements:

1.  For the concert dress code, plan on having students wear something blue, yellow, green, pink, or white. Click here to see photos from the previous concerts for reference. There’s no specific requirement of clothing style, but students should keep the following guidelines in mind when picking their spring concert attire:

• Wear spring colored tops
• Wear long pants
• Wear knee-length skirts or dresses
• Wear closed-toes shoes

2. Please remind your children to bring their instruments to school.
3. After the concert, please remember to sign out at the front office if your children will not be riding the bus. School buses will depart at 4:20 pm.
4. Parents attending the concert must wear a mask at all times and follow all Covid-19 government regulations:

• Send a text message to 1922 by scanning the QR code upon arrival
• Conduct a temperature check
• Sanitize hands
• Complete health declaration form

Class of 2026 Parents:
Greetings!  I am the high school counselor for MAK and on April 12th at 2:30pm, I will be hosting an orientation to high school for the Class of 2026 parents.  This time will be spent getting parents familiar with how high school works at MAK.  We will talk about schedules, activities, teachers, sports, rules, clubs.  The meeting will be in the Garden Conference room. 
Please RSVP by responding to this email so I’m sure we have enough space.  I look forward to meeting you!
Your students will receive orientation for high school during their normal guidance times in April and May.

From the HS Athletic Director

The men’s varsity volleyball teams started their season off against TISSA divisional foe, ICA. 

The JV – Boys lost a close game to ICA this Friday.  After losing the first set, they came out strong and dominated in set 2.  Unfortunately, a little bit of nerves and experience cost them in the deciding set.  The team is improving and looks forward to their upcoming match against KAS this Wednesday.

The men’s varsity followed the JV game with an epic win!  After jumping out to a 2-1 set lead on ICA, the boys found themselves in a hole in the 4th set down 10 points at one point in the set.  However, after digging in and upping their game, the boys were able to come back and win!  This match was the first qualifier for the Varsity team this season.  It was a great start to TISSA league play. 

Men’s JV & Varsity volleyball teams were in action Wednesday against KAS and the Ladies Soccer team kicked off their season against KAS at home.  Upcoming games

The MAK library is hosting a book fair during the week of parent teacher conferences from March 23-25. The fair will be held in the library and students will be able to purchase items on the Wednesday and Thursday of that week. It will also be open on Friday for parents. The fair will conclude on Friday at 1:00.
