Covid-19 Student Vaccination
If parents want to have their child vaccinated with BNT but want to go to the local clinic, please remember to bring these two forms (consent form and notification form) as they are not available at the local clinic.
On the day (1/28/2022 ) of the vaccination, students must bring their yellow card for the vaccine and health insurance card, ARC.
After vaccination, please stay at MPR for at least 15 minutes. If you feel uncomfortable afterward, please tell your teacher.
Precautions before vaccination:
- Do not stay up late the day before.
- Students should not fast prior to vaccination.
- Encourage students to eat a balanced diet and drink plenty of water to avoid post-vaccination dizziness caused by fasting and dehydration.
- Wear loose-fitting, short-sleeved clothing.
- Make sure students do not feel uncomfortable before vaccination.
- In case of discomfort, it is recommended to wait until the condition has stabilized before vaccination.

Parents and guardians are not permitted on campus during school instructional hours. However, parents and guardians can continue dropping off and picking up students at dismissal on campus. Currently, and until further notice, campus access to parents and guardians is limited only to meetings.

- Conduct a temperature check
- Sanitize hands

- Complete a Covid-19 Health Declaration Statement
Self-Health Management and Enhanced Self-Health Monitoring:
Please be mindful of these campus access government regulations with the Chinese New Year break approaching.
- Campus access is not allowed for anyone conducting their self-health management
- Campus access is not allowed for anyone in enhanced self-monitoring
- Family members who reside in the same home as someone in quarantine are in enhanced self-monitoring from day 8-14 of the traveler’s quarantine period
- Travelers returning from Palau are in enhanced self-monitoring from days 6-14
- The government may request individuals who have contact with a confirmed case to undergo enhanced self-monitoring based on the contact history
In all, please note that the government may make additional changes to the Covid-19 prevention measures based on the development of Covid cases, and we encourage you to read school emails carefully.

This year, our theme is: “The Great Feast.” We will be learning and experiencing various aspects of the abundant goodness and life that God has invited us to partake in. We are excited to have guest speakers: Dyzee Alba and our very own Lena Lee (past MAK mom) & Joyce Lee (current MAK Administrative Assistant). We look forward to a wonderful day of learning and growing together!
Do you love reading? We certainly do in the library! The MAK Library is selling a fun t-shirt (designed by MAK senior Emily Griffin) to promote literacy! If you would like to order a shirt, please send your child to pick up an envelope (pictured above) in the library and turn it into either Mrs. Stowers, Mrs. Gregg, or Chang Tai Tai. Thank you!
