Teachers’ Professional Learning Day – Monday, March 1st
教師專業教育訓練日 –  三月1日(一)

This is a reminder that Morrison Academy will have Teachers’ PL Day on Monday, March 1 and there will be no classes for students.

These Professional Learning days are system-wide designated times for all Morrison teachers to meet, receive training, and learn from each other. 

提醒您，三月1日(一)全天是馬禮遜的教師專業訓練日，學生毋須上課。

教師專業教育訓練日是的讓馬禮遜系統裡所有的教師們有一起受訓、互相觀摩以及彼此學習的機會。

The long-awaited annual Spring Art Competition hosted by the Art Club is back again! After some consideration, we have decided that this time there will be no theme: we look forward to being surprised by your creativity! No matter the size or medium (drawing, painting, sculpture), your art pieces are welcome. Please submit by March 15 with your name, grade, medium, and the title on a slip of paper to Mrs. Newkirk, Hope Yang (10), Emily Griffin (11), or Melody Fang (12). Students of all ages are welcome to participate and compete. Artwork will be displayed at the Parent Teacher Conference on March 26, and prizes will be given to placing artists of each age group.

期待已久的春季藝術比賽又回來了！經過許久的深思熟慮，美術社決定這次將這次的主題訂為沒有主題。我們期待收到您驚人的創作！不限作品大小及題材(繪畫、油畫、雕刻)，我們都歡迎您遞件參賽！

請在三月15日之前繳交您的作品並附上姓名、年級和作品名稱的作品資料單給 Mrs. Newkirk、Hope Yang(G10)、Emily Griffin(G11) 或 Melody Fang(G12)。歡迎各個年級的學生參加這次的比賽！您的作品將在三月26日的親師會座談會中展出，並將獎品頒發給各個年級得名的藝術家。

We are excited to announce the 2021 High School Music Festival for grades 9-12 students. 

These festival dates are March 4th – March 5th and will be held at Morrison Academy Taipei.  The highlight of the festival is the afternoon concert performance of the combined HS bands, choirs and orchestras. This concert will begin at 2:15pm on Mar. 5th and will be live streamed. Parents are all invited to come. 

All MAK music students are required to attend this event. Please sign and return the permission form by Friday,  February 26th to indicate your permission for your child to attend with the NT$500 fee to Ms. Mai or Ms. Pan.

2021 三校高中聯合音樂節

我們很興奮地跟大家宣布，我們即將首次舉辦2021年三校高中聯合音樂節。

我們將於三月4-5日在台北校區舉辦。此音樂節的亮點是於三月5日下午2:15舉辦的聯合音樂會，將由三校高中的聯合管樂團、合唱團及弦樂團分別演出不同的曲目。我們將於學校MPR同步轉播音樂會。歡迎所有家長前來觀賞。

管樂團以及弦樂團的學生必須參與此活動。請於明天，二月26日(五)前將簽名後的同意書連同活動費用新台幣500元整，交給麥老師或潘老師。

Dear MAK parents and students,

Early bird ticket sales for Talent Show have officially ended!! If you would like to purchase Talent Show tickets, they will now be 400NT until before March 12 (includes food tickets).

Ticket slips have been handed out to all students and are also available to print here. 

We will be following a series of precautions for Covid-19. If you would like to understand how we will be applying these precautions, feel free to check this document out.
