JV Boys Volleyball

The JV boys volleyball team suffered a defeat this past Wednesday to the MAC Mustangs.  Unfortunately, the team was not at their best and made many mental mistakes to lose the match in straight sets.  However, despite the loss, the team was thankful to play the game in light of travel restrictions placed in Kaohsiung. Coach Tam and Coach Liao hope this game experience will push players to reflect and grow as a team in the final weeks of the season.

Varsity Girls Soccer

After a disappointing outing last week the MAK girls soccer team played a talented mustang team in our first home qualifier of the season.  Despite a much improved performance compared to the week before, MAK lady Sharks were beaten by a score of 6-0 with the quality and discipline of the MAC attack too much to keep at bay for the entire game.  Despite the tough scoreline MAK had a number of stand out performances.  Tabby Dang continues to impress in goal with 29 saves made which could have been more if not for the diligent work of defenders Audrey Wang and Nichole Rodriguez.  The attack was spearheaded by McKenna Muir and Riley Newkirk who created several scoring opportunities but could not quite manage to put away a goal.  The entire Sharks midfield toiled tirelessly for the entire game, a task made all the more difficult by a depleted bench.  MAK Sharks take on KAS next Wednesday @ MAK for our 3rd qualifier of the season.

Varsity Boys Volleyball

The Sharks hosted the Mustangs of MAC in a qualifying match on Wednesday, April 6th and continued to show their improvement on the season.  It was a commanding performance from our varsity team from start to finish, winning 3-0.  The team showed great composure and competed with great passion. It was a great over all team effort in the victory.

Let’s MAKe a Difference – 2021-22 Annual Fund:

The Annual Fund is an exciting time when we can come together as a community to enhance our students’ learning experience and environment.  Indeed, the Annual Fund is an opportunity for our community to generously give and take ownership of the school facilities.

Our goal for this year’s Annual Fund is to raise 800,000 NT with a 100% participation rate from Monday, March 7th through Friday, May 20th, 2022.  We hope everyone can maximize this opportunity to “MAKe a Difference” for our school.  The Annual Fund will purchase school furniture to furnish the elementary, middle school, and high school common area spaces throughout the campus.

Here are the rooms we hope to furnish with new furniture:
